Matthiola is sired by former Stal Gezellig stallion Matthijs out of our current mare, Fleurette. Both sire and dam have made strong impressions on the dressage world and have passed on their athleticism and aptitude to the offpsring. Named after the elegant flowering plant, Matthiola is a testament to the beauty and precision that characterize the dressage discipline. With an energetic presence and a coat that gleams like shiny copper, Matthiola commands attention in the dressage arena. Known for her exceptional responsiveness and intelligence, Matthiola is easy to train and tries hard to please her rider. As a young horse, she can at times be impatient and finicky, but she's quite sensible for a youngster, which we feel bodes well for her future.
