Oakland

"Raider" is a horse we watched with admiration during his career so when he unfortunately ended up in the Orion House we quickly scooped him up! We believed he would be a better gelding and after the procedure he showed promise for the younger riders so he teamed up with a junior rider to take on the world! He can still be moody at times, but he is much more relaxed and calm now. Nothing gets past him; he sees *everything*, which makes his junior rider often suggest shipping blinkers over from Tomarchio for him! Thankfully, if he does feel like reacting to something it's nothing that his partner can't sit. Unlike the Oakland Raiders (who we doubt he was named after, but we rolled with the theme), he won't pulverize you if he doesn't beat you. He's not confrontational like that.
