About Us What’s in a name? Playa. The Spanish word for “beach”. Vista meaning “a view, especially a beautiful view from a high position.” That summed up the area that surrounded the brand new facility. Playa Vista overlooked the iconic Pacific Ocean with its rolling waves and sandy beaches. Luckily this part of Northern San Diego county eluded more to private residences than tourists and the beach below wasn’t dotted with too many sun bathers. The Spanish and Latin version of the words were chosen in a nod to California’s Spanish heritage and due to the fact the San Diego wasn’t to far from the southern border (not to mention Nicki’s love of Spanish horses).

Boarding

Stall Board - $250
Horses are housed in a 14x14 stall and includes turnout, feed, and daily stall cleaning.

Pasture Board - $150
Horses are housed in a pasture with run-in sheds. Includes feed.

If you would like to board with us please choose "Playa Vista" as the stable upon registering your horses and than send your boarding fee(s) to Nicki via the bank!
